Neutral modeIsuzu D-MAX's unique 4WD system could not be easier to use: three transfer modes, controlled by buttons conveniently located in the centre of the instrument panel, cover all conceivable on- and off-road driving conditions. Pushing the 2H and 4L buttons simultaneously instantly puts the Isuzu D-MAX into "Neutral mode."

2H mode 4H mode 4L mode
Recommended for most normal on-road driving conditions, ensuring smooth, economical performance. Basic four-wheel-drive mode greatly enhances traction and stability in dirt, sand and snow. Maximum-traction 4WD for extreme conditions like deep snow, mud, sand or steep hills.

free-wheel hubs Aptly named, "shift-on-the-fly" free-wheel hubs allow effortless, one-button shifting from 2H to 4H at speeds up to 100 km/h, enabling the driver to continue concentrating on what's going on outside the cabin, as opposed to inside the cockpit. manual lock wheel hubs Off-road purists will appreciate the manual lock wheel hubs for ensuring positive 4WD transfers.
