double wishbones with coil springs for level ride comfort. 4WD models team
double wishbones with torsion-bar springs, for superb grip and stable performance on tough surfaces. All models feature a rigid elliptical
leaf-spring rear suspension for increased durability regardless of driving conditions.

Highly accurate steering contributes to driver comfort as well as overall safety. Isuzu D-MAX's
rack-and-pinion system precisely responds, offering drivers a more positive, direct, and sporty steering feel. In addition, its simplified design is lighter in weight and occupies less space than the ball-and-nut steering systems equipped on much of the competition.
